 ...things work out just right
I was making these improvised blocks to add to the screen-printed and painted ground, for this, the first of a new series called "Interpolations"
Without any particular plan, I laid the strip alongside, to find it matched so exactly, that it might have been deliberate...

 I cut the strip and set it in, then measured - exactly 3-1/2 inches.. Oh, well, yes..

Result so far.. I'm pleased with the join between the two strips, too

And there's another coming along nicely, too...
